I’ve been expanding from only double espressos to now pour over and cold brew. I was inspired by Gigi Susu which actually had the first cold brew I’ve tried in a long time with enough consistency/body that I like.




Sleep & Routine
I CANNOT tell you how good it feels to get back to 100% sleeps again. To be able to get back into my sleep routine, prioritize my sleep again, and wake up feeling energized.

I’ve also started integrating more of the nightly routine I had back in 2023 to dial things in further. Lately I’ve been doing my Duolingo and posting Instagram stories in bed after showering/brushing but before journaling and sleeping. Sometimes I get sucked in for 10-15 minutes looking at other peoples’ stories.
It felt manageable and not affecting things too much, but I wanted to remove that opportunity entirely. So I’m back to doing this OUTSIDE of bed, then doing a quick meditation, shower/brush, then getting in bed with zero need to get on my phone (until I write down my story-worthy moment in my phone journal).
Just feels way better.
Purpose Interview


I met this guy last week and we had a great conversation around purpose, finding purpose, and life. I told him that I help people with this.
He’s been doing interviews with people asking them questions around this and invited me to an interview.
And I laughed when he asked me his first question/introduction question. He goes something like “so I hear you’re an expert in finding purpose” 😂 I was like “I’ve been on a big self-discovery journey over the last 5 years and have come to find my own purpose and love to share my learnings and lessons with other people, but I don’t know about expert 😂”
It was a great conversation!
He also told me beforehand that we was quite nervous to speak to me, because I’m essentially doing what he’s searching for. It was the first time I think I experienced this feeling of someone outwardly expressing that they were nervous to speak to me!
Sleep… Again
I went to the Tribal Community Dinner (yet again) this week. Ended up having some great travel conversations. But what was more interesting for me as a takeaway was two things.
One was this:

I felt quite confident introducing myself at Tribal Community Dinner last night. For the first time I said nothing about YouTube or software.
I recorded it and this is literally word for word what I said:
> I'm a coach help people with mindset, productivity, procrastination, overthinking, and stuff like that, that fun stuff.
I've just also _felt_ a lot more confident.
Why?
I think it all comes down to working with [name]
It's no longer "I just get into deep conversations with people"
It's real. Real factual evidence that I'm working with someone.
It feels like something I can stand on.
It was also interesting. I'm talking to [name], he asks something like "so what do you coach people on?"
And I'm like "mindset, productivity, procrastination"
And he goes "so, life coaching?"
"Yeah"
Hahahahah I've been trying to avoid the "life coach" label but it's literally the most accurate description.
And the second was this:

And ended up chatting with some people.
[name] to my right out of the blue asks me about sleep and sleep tips.
Then [name] does the same later, he's like "do I need to pay you to ask you a question" haha
Then we get up move table and [name] comes over and she's like I want to hear about your productivity coaching, I'm struggling with procrastination. And [name] the other girl was like yeahhh me too.
We ended up talking about sleep. And the dancing guy who also had a Whoop saw my sleep scores and was like woahhhhhh your score is so good.
Sign from the universe no?
Could take it that I should _coach_ for sleep. Or, use productivity and sleep as the pull inside, quick wins, but coach on identity, beliefs, purpose.
Coaching
Dream Client
A friend asked me early in the week who my dream client is… I’ve gotten a lot closer than I was some weeks ago, but it still felt uncertain. I said something like “there’s the purpose part (direction, fulfillment, meaning, life alignment) and the productivity (procrastination, sleep, health, routine) area” which is still accurate but it’s not exactly a specific dream client.
So one of the things I did this week was try to bring a little more clarity towards this.
The current hypothesis I’m working with and what has felt the most close of all the topics/descriptions/wordsmithing I’ve done is this:
I help over thinkers stop procrastinating and take action on the goals they’ve been putting off.
They’re ambitious but stuck in their head. They know what they want to do, but they keep procrastinating and overthinking instead of taking action.
Can it be more specific? Sure.
But it’s also the most specific AND right I’ve gotten to.
And is it everything that I do and will do? No, but it’s an entry point.
More Videos
I’ve been making a lot more talking head videos on my Instagram stories, sharing learnings and social proof and stories from the conversations I’ve been having. Just getting more used to speaking on there, sharing social proof of what I’m doing, and creating the association with me.
I do feel in some ways surprised at how much I can and do speak about, at the evidence that I have. It just feels so much different and stronger to speak about things that actually happened, people and conversations and things that actually happened.
Sleep Again^2
On the back of how many times sleep has come up this week in talking with other people (some others I didn’t even share here), I’ve started putting together some little assets I can use to share with people and clients.
I’ve got SOOO much content and gold nuggets in my Obsidian notes/journal, it’s actually wild. The struggle now is sifting through everything and figuring out what and how much to share.

## Using The Signs
What would Coach Peter say?

_You've got real results with good sleep. People have asked you this in the past. I say use it._
_Do you want to coach people with sleep?_
First gut reaction is yes. I've got results. I know what to do.
_Do you WANT to coach people with sleep?_
I think it's not highest on the list of things that my soul wants to guide. I feel like the unlocks I get around beliefs, passion, purpose hit so much harder and deeper than fixing sleep.
BUT I don't think this is a problem to be solved. It can and will be part of the overall program. It can and will be a way I can pull people into my world. And I'm already doing it.
Also, the solution to sleep is not hacks. It's lifestyle and identity, which is perfect because that means I get to guide people on identity change.
What's interesting here is that I thought the high-performance coach label just didn't sit right [[202508141002 How to introduce myself as a coach]] when I used it. I felt like there was a big gap missing with finding fulfillment, passion, purpose. But now I'm like actually "high performance coach" is kind of accurate. Mindset, productivity, procrastination.

This came up this morning reflecting on [event] towards the end.
Connecting to something bigger than just me and my desires.
From my [event] notes:
What's your goal and what's the cost of inaction?
- First thing I thought was just how many people I have the ability to impact and how if I don't take action, all of the people that will continue to suffer because I couldn't show up for them.
- _This_ feels like "purpose" to me.
- I noticed it was interesting how the other guys that stood up and said something talked about themselves. e.g. I would lose connection to my true self, my authenticity etc. I was sitting there thinking fuck... _thousands_ of people out there would continue to suffer if I didn't take action... This is more than just me.
I think about [name] and her advice of connecting to a bigger vision. I feel the inspiration from her about her surrendering to the universe and feeling this higher calling.

I've been feeling this little sensation in the mornings. This idea that I'm _too behind_.
Too behind to go on a walk before working, meditate, give myself space.
The problem?
I'm living a new life now. I need to show up for other people as my best self, to create a container for them.
This doesn't come from grinding on my laptop anymore... Like Monday during my workout I was reviewing [name]'s message thinking about ideas for him in between sets.
We can no longer use "hours behind laptop" as the absolute metric.
In fact, it's almost like, "hours spent away from laptop" (walking, giving space, etc.) is actually a NEW metric I need to be tracking... 🤔🤔
