Metrics From The Week

The Ubud Trip
To be honest I was itching to explore and just get out of Canggu for a bit. Decided to lock in last Sunday morning, get my weekly review and post last week’s Life Update post done immediately first thing, then drove up to Ubud.

Found this day club (Jungle Fish) to chill at for the afternoon, took some photos with my camera as well which was fun.

Then sunset along this rice field path near the center!

It was actually a lot of fun to have a change or scenery and explore. I had this thought that Ubud is “so far away” but it’s just literally an hour. Would totally do it again.
Biz
Intensives
Onboarded two clients this week, 2x 3-hour intensives. One ran over by 45 minutes woops lol.
That took up a lot of my energy this week but they both went really well.
Content
Also made a realization this week one morning trying to make a reel, AI’ing for ideas, trying to write it, script it, couldn’t quite figure it out. Realized this connection back to Dan Bolton’s community and the Bali Intensive last year, the 4 content reframes and that I’m trying to make it be perfect and make it be needed instead of just documenting and releasing the expectation.
After that, just went on my bed, thought of my first line, hit record, started talking, and it actually turned out better than I thought. I was like jeeeezus okay I’m overcomplicating this way too much.
Creative Flow
Later this week I went to openhouse and ended up spending about 2 hours in DEEP creative flow with this b-roll reel.

And WOW that was fun and felt good.
So much fun going back and forth with AI brainstorming ideas, putting clips next to each other, watching it, going “fuckkkkkk that’s so good,” changing things, putting it together.
All that for an 18 second reel, but man I was happy with how it turned out.
And I walked away thinking… “this… this feeling is what I want to have more, like at least once a week.”
I feel like most of my feeling towards content is kind of this obligation, like okay I need to do something, what will work, I need a good hook, need need need.
And the b-roll lifestyle reels I’ve made the last couple weeks have actually been fun to make, it’s a good switch up.
Hypnotherapy Upgrade
I met this guy either late last week or early this week in the sauna. Told him what I do and he’s like oh wow I do basically the same thing, but he does hypnotherapy and was explaining that he used to do what I do: emotions, feeling work, protocols, processes, but now does more like esoteric stuff and uses hypnotherapy which works at the subconscious level that basically gets results in 3 hours instead of months of repetitions.
It got me really curious about it because I know another hypnotherapist here and always had this idea that hypnotherapy is the stage “snap your fingers now you’re superman” type of thing. But after experiencing a mini-session at the Signal Brand Mastermind ~2mo ago, I was like oh it’s just kind of guided visualizations.
So I dove deeper into it this week and did more research.
I learned that hypnotherapy is basically just a delivery mechanism, it’s a tool, everything else around the pain/problem is the same. And there’s actually some good research into it, but that hypnotherapy isn’t this one-time fix, it’s a mechanism to deliver a felt shift in the client, and works using memory reconsolidation that actually can and does rewrite the response to emotional triggers… but you still need the behavioral repetition over time to actually lock in change.
I thought that was super interesting to learn and from that session I updated some of the visualizations and processes I do and created a new one based on the fundamentals here.
And that got me pumped.
Every time I start to create or integrate things that are based on literature, research, that gives me this big boost in confidence and motivation to learn more and develop my skills.
Drop
Discussed with one client the guarantee we talked about that after 4 weeks he could drop without second payment collection. Life got kind of chaotic, the main thing became a secondary hobby thing, uni was taking up a significant portion of time.
I felt like I did my best to work with him but it was kind of unfortunate to hear him decide to shift his priorities. Still learned a ton from that experience.

Thoughts From The Week
202609151317 Post - Reflecting on success
#post
```
I dreamed of this moment,
4 years ago I had this hunch and dream that there must be something bigger out there for me
I just went for it.
And then I struggled so much, feeling so lost, directionless, trying to find passion, purpose, something that could be mine
Some way to give back and be of service
And then I found it, what I loved to do, but I talked myself out of pursuing because of fear.
I knew it, but couldn't move through it by myself. It was @carlystephan that gave me the permission to believe in myself.
Then 2mo ago I finally accepted I can't do this alone and started working with @louisjoecalvert to scale up my coaching biz to impact more people
All of my biggest growth involved other people... And I don't think that's a coincidence...
This week I'm onboarding two new 1-1 clients
And I'm actually just about to reach my own capacity for clients
There's literally not enough of me to give
And I just feel so fucking grateful to be here, and so honored for everyone that's trusted me in helping them
Whatever dream you're working towards, I hope you fucking smash it.
I believe in you so much.
