Phew! All over the map!
Leaving Santa Fe
On my last full day with Grant and Sahyli we spent it in the best way:
- Morning at a coffee shop
- Lunch at a Mexican restaurant
- Then game night
I sparked a little desire and fun for playing board games this night. After a day out and about (and really the past 2ish weeks) I honestly didn’t really know what I wanted to do… I kinda threw the idea out of Settlers of Catan and we rolled with it. Lots of fun!
Pit Stop
Took a quick stop at Ghost Ranch, a common summer destination for Georgia O’Keeffe to paint.
Instead of painting I got ice cream 🙂
Camping in Carson National Forest, NM
After a couple hours I was tired from driving. I started thinking about stopping for a quick nap before continuing north. I passed by a National Forest sign and swiftly did a u-turn to find a spot to nap. I indeed found a spot, but then I thought well maybe I’ll just stay the night since it’s already late afternoon.
Well a night turned into about 4 days… lol

Pagosa Springs
I ran out of my 2gal drinking water so I headed out. I stopped in Pagosa Springs for a quick pit stop and it turned into a whole afternoon (getting the theme here yet? lol).

Durango
I stopped in Durango for about a day and a half just to get a taste and explore a little.
Moab
By nightfall I had made it to Moab. I grabbed some (actually amazing) tacos and called it a night.
MAN it was hot in Moab! Holy smokes! It was 108° when I arrived. I’ll come back another time 😅
