I’m on my way south from Denver to Santa Fe to spend some time with my brother and sister-in-law. I made a quick afternoon stop in Colorado Springs.
Food
There’s a “hip and cool” food hall downtown called The Well. It has coffee, a full bar, and 3 places to get food (with a 4th “coming soon”). Oh and it also has wifi if you want to do some work.

- Dun Sun – Asian fusion, fast-casual and street eats
- Noble Burger – burgers, inspired by Midwestern roots
- Kumbala – Mexican fare and comfort cuisine, specializing in barbacoa and pozole
I got the Lucky Belly Tacos with a side of sweet potato fries and it was very good!

Nature
After grabbing some food I headed to the Red Rock Canyon Open Space just to check it out.

There are tons of trails here with people walking their dogs and biking. But, just a quick stop was it for me as I kept heading south.
The views of the mountains are unreal. They remind me of the size and scale in Salt Lake City, Utah. I’ll be back!
