Metrics From The Week

Granada, Spain

Final days at the house. I recorded a bunch of reels and a long ramble video to cut into more clips.

Belgrade, Serbia

Drove back down to Malaga then flew to Belgrade! I was there at about 5pm and left the next day at 1pm. Just enough for some exploring.

To be honest I have no idea what I expected. Maybe a bit less developed than the rest of Europe?

But I was honestly very impressed and surprised.

I met another guy in the online members club I’m a part of in Belgrade for the evening, we got dinner together, chatted, and did some exploring around the city.

He was teaching me about cold approaching and “game” and ended up approaching like 6 women that night. It was honestly super fascinating to see and watch. And the biggest takeaway I had was just how normal it is, how confident he is in doing it, and how receptive and open the women were to chatting.

We ended up at this table of 3 girls chatting until like midnight 😂

In the morning I found a nice specialty coffee shop, with a reeeeally interesting espresso from columbia, it was something like honey fermented. Super flavorful. And the barista came out with a second one for me to try later for free.

Then found another coffee shop for a croissant and macchiato.

I walked away from Belgrade thinking huh, I actually would consider coming back. It kinda felt a bit like Budapest, maybe a little smaller. But it had good food, a nice main street with modern shops, nice rooftop restaurant that we went to, beautiful women, friendly people, reasonably priced… Maybe I’ll be back!

Montenegro

Stood in line at that passport control for literally 1 hour 30 minutes… There were 2-3 immigration officers for the whatever 100+ people on the flight.

It felt like an unskippable cutscene. Killer. But when I did finally make it to the officer, I made it through fine.

Montenegro Event

I came here for an event for the members club I’m part of.

I stayed at this hotel a couple minutes down the road that was actually quite nice! Had a gym, pool, and sauna included!

Day 1

  • Chilled at the house in the morning
  • Drove up to Kotor for the day
  • Lunch at a restaurant in the Old Town and then strolled around

We were just walking down one of the streets and was chatting with another guy and went, want to walk down by the water?

We turned down this park towards the water and passed by this woman who asked if we wanted to do a boat tour.

The owner of the club goes “nah we’re alright thank yo-… wait, did you say boats?”

They ended up negotiating a bit and we decided to go for it. 3 hour boat tour on these two speedboats around the bay.

  • Stopped in Perast for a coffee
  • Stopped in the Blue Cave and most of us jumped in the water. I didn’t bring my swimsuit so I just went in my underwear lol. It was cold but worth it! That was a highlight for sure.

What you can’t see from the photos here was that our boat didn’t have as many guys on it so it was WAY more bumpy, every wave we were getting thrown around. And it was hilarious to look over at the other boat just cruising through all the waves 😂 My abs and cheeks hurt after this from laughing so hard.

Then went up to this fortress on the mountain to watch sunset before heading back.

Day 2

  • coffee and breakfast by the beach
  • recorded a ton of b-roll while the guys were at the gym
  • went out for lunch down by the water
  • hung out in the apartment until the evening

We all dressed up in suits then went to this resort & casino. I didn’t gamble but some of the other guys did. Just wasn’t feeling the vibes there. And I started getting exhausted and a bit of a headache, which I believe was because I did a sauna session that afternoon. I just wandered around the resort exploring until we all left.

Some of the guys went out to the club, but I went back to sleep.

It was really fun to dress up though, I can’t remember the last time I wore a suit like this…

Day 3

  • morning coffee and breakfast along the beach
  • hung out at the apartment
  • went into Budva and explored Old Town, got lunch there
  • then came back for dinner as well

There was some event going on this weekend, like a holiday or festival. The place was packed with people and there was this parade of people going through all dressed up in costumes.

Thoughts

  • The old towns are really cool, small tight streets, lined with restaurants and shops, like a maze
  • So beautiful! Reminded me of the French Riviera, mountains along the coast, beautiful clean and clear blue water. And Kotor was especially beautiful, this bay nestled in the mountains. It felt a bit like Switzerland.
  • TONS of construction, wow, ever other building was this partially built massive apartment building. Lots of money flowing into this area.
  • And the main road from Tivat down to Budva was like 50% construction, driving on a dirt road, the other half was freshly paved, so they’ve been working on improving that road
  • All of the food I had was incredibly good. We picked this just random restaurant for lunch in Budva and the food came out incredibly good.
  • And price-wise, it felt quite reasonable, especially for eating at places like right on the water
  • Overall I was quite impressed. It feels a bit like an underrated location. And I would definitely come back.
  • And as for the event, it was just as good as all the others. It was a ton of fun to meet back up with the boys and meet a couple new people as well. So many laughs. It’s always just fun exploring a new place with people as well. And the rooftop apartment was BEAUTIFUL. Goals right there.
