Metrics From The Week
Recovery went to absolute shit one day, I think it was from being outside at Nirvana on the sunbeds (even in the shade most of the time) and going to the sauna and working out. Fortunately was able to sleep it off back to normal the next day.

Back in Bali for round 2 this year!
This was last year: The Week Of The Insane Bali Villa (May 11th, 2025)
The Villa
We checked into this villa. The photos online looked INSANE. But the more looked closer, it didn’t quite look like the photos. I didn’t capture any of the things, but it was like dirty covers with stains on them, glass with water marks, chipping paint, exposed wires… Looking back, for how much he paid for this place… it wasn’t really the standard that you would expect.
I was willing to stay and thought it’d be fine, but the owner/guy who runs the community thought it wasn’t good enough… And bad enough that he wanted to move places… So by the next morning we had found a different villa and left and got a refund. A bit of chaos doing all that…
Bu it’s still crazy to think about… we found this other villa, Whatsapp’d them at like 12pm, they had no one staying, he booked it, and we all arrived by 4pm.
And holy shit this place was insane.
We got there and everyone immediately jumped in the pool, we were goofing around. It was like 3 times the size as the first one… And actually less expensive than the first one 😂
We figured out that the first place hasn’t really kept up with maintenance of the place, but they just still push marketing super hard from when it was first built, and they’ve got like 30k followers on Instagram, which is why…
Unfortunate, but it ended up working out in our favor.
Moments From The Week
Chilling at the villa, swimming in the pool, recording videos, having conversations with the other guys. Ended up connecting with another guy who independently got into his own inner work and trauma work and was sharing how it was the single highest ROI thing he ever did. It was great to connect over that, as it seems quite rare in this space.

Went to the shooting range again
Sanur and Nusa Dua down south for lunch and to ride jet skis again. The jet skis were sooooooo much fun again.
Dinners out
We all went to Nirvana a couple days. And one day we went to Reload Sanctuary to check it out. Super crowded, but the gym equipment was really good.
One night some of us went out. The guys wanted to go to Mexicola and Old Mans, I tried to convince them of otherwise 😂 but it was still fun to go together.
One day we took a bus up to Ubud to go ATV’ing and tubing down this river. SO much fun.
I’ve got gopro footage from the shooting range, jet skis, ATV, and tubing, but I’ve got soooo much I need like a week to go back through everything 😂
