The Knowledge Library

So I’ve been around capacity for my 1-1s lately, a problem I’m very grateful to have. But I’ve been working with my business coach on how to scale this up and serve more people without burning myself out.

We came up with this idea for a sort of mid-tier offer of fewer calls, but with consumable assets.

I never really liked the idea of running a community or group calls, idk, it just never really piqued my interest. I built my life and business around the 1-1 conversation interaction and so that’s my core base.

But uh… by laws of physics, I have come to learn that I can only have so many 1-1 calls without taking up all my time/energy. And unfortunately I have not figured out a way to bend the laws of physics in my favor yet.

So I actually kind of liked this idea… Not a course or community, but taking all the SignalOS concepts and tools, turning them into assets, then reducing the number of calls.

One of my first reactions was “mmmmmmm I dunno, I just feel like people aren’t gonna get as good of results as 1-1” but then I thought, yes, and that’s okay. This is a way for me to serve more people and help more people. If I didn’t then all these people would continue to struggle with this. So it’s a compromise, but seeing the net positive rather than the gap, glass half full instead of half empty.

SO with that idea aside, I started building…

I had my AI copilot in Obsidian do this long deep research of all my notes, concepts, tools, every single client call transcript, and built out this research report of all the explanations and things that don’t need me, to be able to put into assets and tools.

And mannnn seeing that output, I think it took me 3-4 passes of hitting my Claude rate limit lol, but seeing that finish, reading through the analysis and synthesis, what can be pulled into docs and worksheets and what I should focus on… SO freaking cool I was geeking out smiling.

Then I started building out the pages. I’m valuing speed right now, so I just went with Obsidian Publish, so I’m creating notes in my Obsidian vault that I’m publishing to the site. I knew if I created videos it would take wayyy longer.

I had AI draft the pages, pulling quotes from transcripts, examples, stories, my own words. Then I went through it all and edited.

I also created a WhatsApp group for all my clients. It was kinda funny looking back, I had this resistance towards making a group chat and I think it was this idea of my clients seeing how many (or not many) other clients I have… that “oh it’s only us?” reaction. Which, when I think about it, just didn’t feel like it would ever happen.

It was a conversation with my villa roommate (and also client lol) who helped me see what was stopping me and helped me move through it.

Then it was Friday that I spent literally the entire day, like 9 hours, just reading through draft pages, editing them, improving them, etc. And then got v1 live and sent it into the group chat for all my clients to access.

MAN I can’t tell you how exciting building this has been. It’s so freakin’ cool man. This is what I always loved about building software: having an idea, then building something, solving a problem, and then actually seeing it come to life in front of you.

There’s SO much more to do… adding more of the pages, images, making videos, etc. But I’m pushing for Good over Perfect 🙂

And then also, the WhatsApp group I made has actually turned out to be more fun than I feared.

Because I started just dropping random little ramble voice notes throughout my day about little stories, little learnings, lessons, wins/misses. And there’s something about that feeling… It’s almost like this permission, permission to share what I’m passionate about and knowing that people are here for that… or I mean they’re there to solve their own problem… but compared to this idea of sharing on social media, where there’s more noise, maybe not everyone is interested, etc.

It kinda feels like having an email list. Or these blog posts.

And that’s got me really excited.

So anyways, v1 is live, I started doing some reach outs inviting people into the founding member spots for this program and already have some people interested which I’m pumped about.

THISS SHIT IS SOO COOOOLLLLLLL

#post

```
I'm sorry
I always thought when creators fell off, they were struggling
And to some extent that's still true
I've been struggling
But struggling with the other side of this... to balance client calls and serving with making content and helping people for free
Im just so much more busy than I thought
And I'm very very close to my capacity right now for 1-1s which is crazy to say out loud
BUT
I've been working with my biz coach on how to scale this up and serve more people
And we came up with an idea I'm super pumped about
I'm taking everything that I teach on client calls, everything that's working, and turning it into assets you can consume
I'll have a new tier launched very soon so I can serve more people without burning myself out
And I'm SOOO freakin pumped
So yes, I'm sorry I haven't been posting as much, I want to be able to share more value and insights for free
But for now that's being put on the back burner
If you in any way want to learn more about how I might be able to help you, DM me
Onwards and upwards
Also speaking of sibuk sekali I’ve been so sibuk sekali working this week that I only made it to the gym once… Oof.
The Realization
I was talking with a friend this week and shared this out loud. I think I’ve realized or thought this before, but it felt a little more charged this time and I sat with it a bit longer.
5 years ago I felt lost, stuck, and dreamed of this life of waking up excited every day, building something, making a difference in the lives of other people.
And I know everyone online posts they’re origin stories and it’s all rainbows and butterflies and everyone exaggerates the start… But man I’m so fucking grateful I actually documented it from the inside.
I’ve come back to this video MULTIPLE times over the last couple years. And just rewatched it again.
It’s actually crazy watching this… I have right now, everything that I was dreaming of.
And towards the end I said something like “I don’t know if I’m right, but my gut it telling me to follow happiness and fulfillment.” I’ve changed my view a little bit on the happiness piece, but like fuck I was right that’s actually crazy 😂
I ran with that as my compass and it worked out.
I won’t say that there’s nothing to improve upon in my life, I won’t say it went perfectly, I’m not in any way perfect, I’m still trying to figure out rest and balance and what works for me and my biology, but man… It’s so crazy to stop and look back and think that my life right now, this work that I do, I was searching for this feeling for like 5 years…
And it’s finally here.
Interview
A friend reached out to ask to interview me about my fitness journey. It was for some content for her fitness app client, but I like the story better that I’m famous and she wanted to interview me about my life🤪
We had a hilarious time and it kinda felt like a mini-podcast as well, and I dunno I’ve said this before but I really like the podcast format. I’m a rambler and I have always loved thinking, processing, and deep conversations, so it just feels like a really good format. More to come 🙂
The Gas Shortage
Bali’s had this crazy gas shortage for the last week. From what I understood there was a big storm that went through and the waves were unusually high so the tanker ships had to get redirected. The Pertamina gas company released some emergency supply, but the damage was already done. All the little local convenience store shops ran dry, everyone was lined up at the gas stations, the gas stations were running empty.
I remember driving I think on Monday or Tuesday and had half a tank and had the thought “I should top up” and drove by a place but was like “nah I’m good I’ll do it tomorrow”
The next day I learned about what was going on, saw the reels of people lined up, and was like “well shit 😂”
I had enough fuel for like 3-4 days of driving around Canggu, so I wasn’t panicking, I was just gonna wait it out.
But then it was Friday I think, about 3-4 days later, when I got down to 1 bar (out of 6) and it was between 1 bar and flashing a bit… I went to check out the gas station Friday morning and the line was backed up down the street and around the corner (middle photo below). The gas line was on the other side of the cars (to the left), the cars and scooters pictured are driving through past the station. Not AS crazy as it seems but still, I saw this and went “nahh I can’t 😂” and turned around to go home.
Our villa housekeeper had an extra bottle fortunately, clutch!
By last night (Saturday) I drove by some of the other gas stations on my way to Seminyak and the lines were pretty reasonable. So I think it’s getting back to normal, just all the little convenience store shops are still empty. We will survive!
And Sunday update: went to the gas station today and filled up! I waited a whopping 8 minutes… Seems we’re back to normal again.
Social Interactions
Philosopher Beach Walk
Not as far as the last one. I walked up Batu Bolong and got lunch mid-way through.
I was a bit low energy to start but it indeed actually changed my state after those first couple interactions saying hi and good morning to people and starting to count them. Got way more happy and upbeat. Made it to 34 interactions, ~40 min walking plus lunch.
So cool, I love these walks it’s so much fun.
202610121038 Philosopher walk
#journal
- stopping at milk and madu, 19 reps
	- at mm: exchange with woman to left about her Avo toast, call it 20
- one girl by times beach on the wall, long eye contact, curly hair ponytail, would like to chat but got afraid, was like "I'll do it on the way back", felt into it briefly as I kept walking
- [name] video, the space between thought and action, all procrastination happens in that space, reduce that gap, just have a thought, think is this what my ideal self would do, and then take action, do it
	- I was like, I mean yeah, but this sounds easier said than done, particularly for analytical types that have gotten so used to thinking through their moves
- what _is_ my priority for biz right now?
	- like I could take on 1-2 more clients, but that doesn't solve the scaling issue
	- next milestone is running SignalOS workshop with ads to it
	- but I have like 1-2 spots
	- so I need a place to put all these people
	- Which brings it back to the mid tier offer
	- Need a name for this, SignalOS self service, SignalOS core, group. Tbh I think it's gonna be the main intake then we just escalate to 1-1
	- and then we also need to set up email list and start sending emails
	- so I think priority is something like
		- setup group tier
			- content library minimum viable
			- WhatsApp group
		- add all clients
		- invite [name] and [name]
		- update workshop v3 to be 60 min + Q&A
		- _then_ push
			- signalos workshop v3 - ads
			- in person workshop
			- get on podcasts
		- where's content? Just keep-alive
			- floor action? 30min per day? One ramble?
Other ideas
- fear of being seen as not as good as you think other people think
	- exact thing stopping my Whatsapp group idea, same thing I'm seeing in [name]. Great signal miner pull here
- the rest angle, shown in [name]'s fear: if I don't solve it, things won't be okay, I'll be worth less to other people
- the all of nothing pattern, continuing to show up
	- in [name] as well, the image she portrays, putting all this effort into one piece of content when priority is volume
	- wait [name] as well with the Instagram photos
Continuing walk...
- finished at 34 or 35 not sure, call it 34!
Evening Exploration
Two times this week got dinner then just drove around Canggu seeing if there were any opportunities to start conversations with people.
I went to Batter Club, got some cookies, and sat there watching the chaos of that Revolver intersection just doing some people watching. So much fun and stimulating.
Black Sand
One of my clients is building a dating matchmaking service and he’s been working through all the feelings and predictions approaching people (mainly girls but also guys) on the beach and in places. It’s been so fascinating to grow myself through coaching and helping him.
Friday night he invited me to come to Black Sand with him and I decided to go. I haven’t been in what has to be a year.
As I was getting ready I used my own two guided audios that I created for clients, Focusing and Friction Reset. And wow those helped a lot. Then I went for a little walk on Nelayan beforehand and started saying hi and random things to people and like clockwork immediately my mood and state changed, felt so much more confident, social, playful.
Got to Black Sand, met up with my friend, met some new people, started a conversation with a guy while waiting for a drink that felt super clean, tried an approach to two girls for my friend’s service, went horribly lol, had a couple other nice exchanges and conversations, and saw a good handful of people I recognized.
It was more fun that I expected it to be. I expected it to be overstimulating and overwhelming, to which it was a bit, but I survived 🙂
We went to Segno after, this really cool speakeasy bar.
State Change
I realized Saturday something about this playful social confident energy. I think it was a combination of working through my own fears, the philosopher walk exchanges, feeling more upbeat and happy, and some of the other people at Self+ community brunch being so positive and uplifting… that I just realized I felt so much more happy and playful.
I keep driving on the scooter and then just start smiling and then I just feel really good.
Thoughts From The Week
Nostalgic
202610111617 How it felt rewatching my old vlog and videos this morning
#journal
[...] I ended up re-watching my Yosemite YouTube video vlog from years ago.
Things that stood out to me:
I had this fun energy to me, just full of curiosity and awe. The video script was kinda quirky and fun too.
And that idea about slowing down... I was like holy shit I'm struggling with the exact same thing right now.
And there was this line in there somewhere, that time will pass, but you'll keep your memories forever, and I went "awwww" that's a freakin' banger line.
It was a little nostalgic and emotional as well. Felt proud that I made that. I literally haven't watched it in YEARS.
And I just had this thought like, I _try_ so hard with content, where's _this_ Peter and version of me right now? Like what if I just vlogged my day around Bali or went on a trip or something and got back into that creative fun energy again. Just this sense of like "I've lost this lately..."
Really inspiring watching that back and old videos I made to myself, awww
