Final Morning In Montenegro

Went back down to this cafe by the beach, drinking my espresso and eating breakfast with such a gorgeous view, watching the waves splash against the sand… Pure peace.
New Instagram
I was inspired by some of the other guys and how they split up their Instagram profiles. The more I get into content and specific content around self-trust, betrayal, life direction, the more I feel weird giving people I meet my main Instagram page. Because ideally I really just want it as a personal brand and funnel for coaching, to have just my ideal client following me…
So I spun up a new second Instagram profile, just a personal account. I figure this is what I’ll give to people I meet in person or people that aren’t interested in my coaching business and world. Then if they want to follow that too, then fine. It just feels cleaner.
And yes I spent some time optimizing the photos/posts here, deciding what to put. I think it’s cleeeeeeeeeean right now.

Heading East!
Flew out of Tivat, Montenegro to Istanbul. Nice 3-4 hour layover spent at the lounge there, probably one of the best I’ve ever been to…
Then flew Istanbul to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

Back when I was planning these travels in Salt Lake City, at the height of the conflict going on right now in the middle east, I was really concerned about this leg… because Istanbul to Kuala Lumpur, and really any southeast asia flight normally goes right over Iran 😅
But for weeks I was tracking flights and messaged a commercial pilot in the online community I’m apart of, he said it’s just business as usual as they just divert around the airspace.
By the time it came to this flight I had basically forgotten about it, because as he said… it was just business as usual.
Very grateful to be back in southeast Asia!
But WOW I forgot how freakin’ humid it is here… Jeezus.
Kuala Lumpur
For the first time, I booked an airbnb instead of the capsule hostel I like to stay in here in KL. I had some calls this week and wanted to make sure I had a safe and reliable place. And I knew the content would be good 🙂

Got it for something like $33-$35/night. And man, what a steal.
The skyline view and rooftop infinity pool was unreal. Had to pinch myself every morning looking out over the menara tower and twin towers in the distance.

But BY FAR the best thing about being back in asia is the bidets, or whatever you call these water sprayers.

I don’t think I’ve found a toilet without one.
I remember getting back to the U.S. and going, “why aren’t there bidets here? I feel like I’m living in the dark ages.”
Here in Asia you just spray, one wipe, clean, done. Takes 5 seconds.
In the U.S. I’ve got to sit there for 5 minutes wiping like 13 times with toilet paper. It’s so annoying.
And it doesn’t make any sense to me, it takes so much longer and you use so much more toilet paper.
…
wait a second…
…
“use so much more toilet paper”
…
“more toilet paper”
OHHHHHHHH 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Errands In KL
I came to KL for some “errands” – yearly health screening check up (full blood panel, full body ultrasound, etc.), dental cleaning, couple last wardrobe updates.

I ordered Grab food delivery for basically every meal, there was a coffee shop at the base of the hotel/apartment tower, and a nice cafe a couple minutes away. I was just thinking, yep, this is basically ideal for if you want to just lock yourself in your room and work.

I made it back to KLCC park for a run, felt good to sweat hard again and run around this park. So beautiful, warm, and sunny!

Socializing
My Grab driver down to the health clinic was super interesting. Teaching AI education and had this connection to telecom business. Super great energy, asking a lot of questions, laughs, very interesting and intelligent! We connected on Whatsapp, he took a selfie with me, and then sent this 10s AI generated video of us from it haha.
But it just reminded me of how nice it is to socialize again. I feel like the last like 5 months has been just so dry… And here within two days, I met this great Grab driver, started a little exchange in the elevator with some people, was chatting with a girl at the gym in the hotel one evening.
We are so back.

Wassup, final morning here in KL. Heading to Bali today! KL has been good. Great Airbnb here - Ceylonz Suites, incredible skyline view. I've been mostly able to lock in like I wanted, just feeling a little of the friction of boredom, not fully routine [...]. I would and will definitely come back. This is great as a base to just grind on the laptop, record content, etc. A sprint though... not for too long.
I'm excited for Bali, it's finally here! Been waiting for this moment since like February. My intention is really to lock in and build but I just know it's not gonna end up like that. [name] and [name] are there, gonna see them. [name], [name], [name], bunch of other people I met. So I've really got to be intentional about this. As long as I've got enough time to record content/edit daily, moving the needle and taking calls, the rest I can consider "networking." But I just know I'm not gonna end up locked in my room 12 hours a day. But we'll see. I'd like to experiment with solid focus blocks/days, learning, gym, then maybe a full rest day no work. It's gonna be hard but I'll figure it out. It'll be worth it regardless. I just really want to put in the work that this coaching business and purpose really deserves. Like imagine 1-2 years from now harvesting the fruits from an amazing base/tree. I will not be a Bali brokie.
I was looking at my Stripe this morning [...] I wanted to stop to really feel proud of this. To go from nothing [...] to now [...], and actually getting inbound leads more consistently trickling in, it's really happening bro! We're doing it!
What's actually making this work? My content - [name] said he really resonated with my reels, they're honest and authentic, not ChatGPT. [name] came back because his situation changed and he said each one of my videos was resonating. That's what to double down on right now...
One More Stop

Went up to the check in desk Malaysia airlines to get my boarding pass. It was this Malaysian girl with some prominent makeup, but well done and pretty! Gave her my passport, she asked for my onward flight, of which I didn’t have… so booked it on the spot, then as she gave my passport back, I said “I like your makeup, very pretty” and she smiled and said “thank you!” I thanked her and walked off, didn’t think anything of it.
2 hours later I have just boarded and see a notification of a new follower, a girl. I zoom in on the profile picture and it’s the same girl from the check in desk ahahaha 😂

WE’RE BACK IN BALI BABY YESSIR
What’s Next?
We’ve made it, there is no next 🙂 Just, working and living life.
